SilverStone Inn North Spokane

I booked three nights and only stayed one. The rooms were clean, but still smelled of stale smoke, enough to bother me even though I smoke. My sleep was wrecked by neighbors slamming doors, yelling, talking loudly, and playing the TV at full volume all night. There’s no overnight clerk to complain to. At 5 a.m., a loud vacuum truck at the car wash across the street woke me too, with no warning. I asked for a ground-floor room because stairs are difficult for me. The clerk said all rooms were booked, even though the lot was empty except for three other cars and mine. She put me above one of the only other occupied rooms, and it seemed like that request may have annoyed her. I’m leaving as soon as the front desk opens and will ask for a full refund. This place is a joke. I absolutely don’t recommend it.

Nothing fancy, just a basic, clean room, but it’s a good value if that’s what you’re after. Great price, a location that works for us, and always really nice staff. The sack breakfast is the best anywhere.

I had to buy my own drain plug just to take a bath, and the manager’s voicemail afterward was dismissive instead of helpful. I rely on a working bathtub for accessibility, so this was unsafe and unacceptable. I stayed here in October 2025. The drain in the first room’s rusted tub wouldn’t hold water; there wasn’t even a plug in the second room. Staff later admitted that none of the tubs in the building work, despite being advertised as functional. The property needs maintenance, honesty, and accessibility oversight before more guests are misled.

I canceled and walked out. I’d booked ahead and stopped by the day before to pay because I’m in the middle of a move, sharing custody 50/50 of a special needs child, and needed somewhere safe to stay during the move. The woman at the desk came across like a former KGB agent. It felt like an interrogation and set off my PTSD for about an hour afterward. My veteran, 100% disabled butt will spend my money somewhere else. I’d suggest everyone do the same. Rude would’ve been an upgrade.
