Quality Inn Downtown 4th Avenue

The room was clean and bright, and the hotel was very clean, easy to access, and staffed by friendly people. The first day, we returned to a made bed and our used towels had been removed, which was perfect. On the second morning, we told the maid in the hall we didn't need anything. By the third day, the room was just as we'd left it, with no towel pickup or bed making. That was a bummer. The refrigerator felt cool, but the freezer ice was melting, and no amount of adjustment helped. A lamp and the TV also wouldn't turn on. I found the power strip plugged into a dead outlet, moved it, and everything worked. Someone must have moved the plug shortly before we arrived. Later that night we found the bed lumpy and too soft, like it needed a new mattress.

We stayed from Friday to Monday in October, and I'm glad we did. The room was very clean and inviting, and the front desk gentleman was nice and explained everything. It was great having breakfast ready in the morning, with a good selection. Cookies and drinks available all the time were a plus, too. The whole staff was very nice and helpful. We'll stay again in the near future!

The staff were really friendly and polite, and my room and bathroom were impressively clean. I loved how comfortable the bed was. The pool had a few bugs, but after we called the desk, someone came to clear them out within 15 minutes. Breakfast wasn't my favorite quality-wise, though it was free and had plenty of choices.

The place is well kept, pleasant, and close to downtown, though it isn't especially fancy. I stopped by on short notice to see whether it might work for booking a block of rooms for a wedding. The updated room and comfortable bed were a good sign, and the staff were helpful. I hoped to get food at the downstairs lounge since they often serve meals, but it was closed on Sunday and I was too tired to drive elsewhere. I didn't notice anything about room service. Breakfast was a bit of fun, especially their so-called 3D pancake maker.
