Quality Inn Oakwood

EV charging on site was a huge plus. Please add more chargers. There are also lots of good places nearby to eat, whether for lunch or dinner. I was pleasantly surprised by how clean the hotel was and how friendly the service felt. Even though it's right off Division, the rooms were quiet, clean, and comfortable. It looks like they're modernizing the property. Breakfast was very good. I didn't use the pool or spa, though both looked in great shape and are open 24/7. I'll be visiting Spokane regularly over the next few months, and this will be one of my top choices.

Quality Inn Oakwood looked after my dad while his apartment was being treated, and we really appreciated how the staff cared for him. He's elderly and disabled, and whenever we asked for help, the team responded quickly and went out of their way to accommodate him. They offered kind words and real empathy. It felt like they were watching out for him, not just handling a transaction. The hotel was spotless and clearly well cared for. His room was fresh and quiet, with plenty of amenities and thoughtful extras that made things easy and comfortable. I've stayed at high-end places that didn't provide service on this level. We were very grateful for their care. An easy five stars.

We picked this hotel because it's easy to walk to shops and restaurants, and we liked the welcoming staff and all the breakfast choices. The breakfast was wonderful. But the stay in our room was frustrating. We knew construction was happening, but workers threw debris from the second floor into a dumpster right outside our room, starting at 8 a.m. and continuing all day. We also couldn't get Wi-Fi in the room for our entire three-day visit, which was a major inconvenience since I needed to work remotely. We hadn't expected so many problems while we were in the room.

The first night was easy and comfortable, and I would have given my two-night stay five stars if not for what happened the second night. The hotel wasn't full, but because I had a pet, I was required to stay in the construction area that night. They already knew about my dog and had put us on the second floor, away from the work, the first night. I hadn't planned to stay a second night, but came back after that first one. My mistake. It won't happen again. And just because we book through a third party doesn't mean you can't provide a receipt for the stay. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else for the same price or less.
