The staff made a stressful change of plans much easier. My boyfriend and I were in town for a wedding in the Woodlands, arriving late on Jan 21. We were meant to stay through Jan 23, but with the winter storm we decided to head back to Dallas after the reception on the 22nd. I asked about checking out late that day. They explained it depended on how long housekeeping could stay, then coordinated with the day staff and kept us updated. The wedding was at 3:35pm, and they let us check out at 1:30 pm. Huge thanks to the front desk and cleaning staff, especially Alysa, for taking that weight off my shoulders. The gym was clean and spacious, with room for me to do floor workouts on a mat. Our room was very clean, and the hot breakfast was so delicious that we bought bagels, cream cheese, and jelly for our apartment afterward haha. We’d love to come back when we travel to Houston.

Restaurants were easy to get to, with some close enough to walk to. The front desk staff were always friendly and greeted guests with a smile. I liked the welcome white board with the first names of everyone checking in that evening. The doors locked after 10pm, so you needed a key to enter, which made me feel safer. I’d stay here again if I’m in the area. Thanks for a hospitable stay.

The price was reasonable, and the included breakfast had a big assortment. Staff were very nice and accommodating. The only thing that bothered us was the door, which shut loudly even when we tried to be careful, and I hate disturbing other guests. My husband and I stayed one night for a concert and liked the hotel’s appearance. Our room was very clean, with a spacious king bed room and a walk-in shower. The bed was comfortable. There’s a pool that we didn’t use, and my husband did use the spacious workout room. We’ll stay again.

The free buffet breakfast seems to be gone here. It cost $13. Even so, I’d stay again. The property is older but well cared for, and some upgrades seem to have been done. Check-in was quick and easy. I had no trouble with the WiFi while streaming, and the room was clean and nicely arranged. The bed was comfortable, the water pressure very strong, and there was plenty of hot water. It was surprisingly quiet for a spot right off I-45. Restaurants, gas stations, shopping, and entertainment are all nearby.

My husband and I are club members and travel all over, mostly staying at Holiday Inn Express hotels. I asked the woman checking us in for a room away from the elevator. She said room 213 wasn’t too close, but the elevator was literally about two seconds away. I felt like my request was ignored. If she’d honored it, I would have given five stars. That’s the only reason I gave service a 3.
