Freedom Inn & Suites

We're staying here now, but I wouldn't recommend booking. My family came from out of town and checked in today to find that the TVs in both rooms don't work. There were oil and food stains on the desks, stains on the sheets, and mold on the carpets. If that's the condition of the rooms and public areas, I wonder what the kitchen is like. I wouldn't risk eating the free breakfast. The discounted price fooled me, so don't be fooled too. City health should visit this hotel.

The only issue was a pot smell in the hallway, which isn't the employees' fault. Otherwise, my husband Richard Popplewell and I had no complaints. The room and bathroom were very clean, and the TV worked. Britney was very nice, explained everything, and got us checked in quickly.

There was just one person handling the desk and rooms, and it took 30 minutes to check in because nobody else was there. The keys didn't work, so I had to get staff to open my room each time. It smelled like mold, the rooms weren't clean, the curtains were torn, and there was a spider web on the lamp. The pool was closed, there was no cable, and the fire exits were closed. The windows were covered in plastic for exterior painting. Worst hotel I've ever been to. Don't waste your money.

The bed had blood and hair on it when I got ready to sleep. I told the front desk, and they said they hear complaints like that often, but the higher-ups don't like hearing about them. Nothing was done. Getting the room for the night had already taken a long time, and there was also a really loud party or something happening near my second-floor room. I'll never stay here again.
