We’d stay here again. The room was spotless, the bed and pillows were comfortable, the staff were helpful, and breakfast was delicious. It had hot and cold cereals, bagels, muffins, toast, pork sausage, eggs, fried potatoes, biscuits and gravy, juice, yogurt, and fresh fruit. The yogurt was all non-fat, though, so a full-fat option would be nice for someone like me who eats high-fat, low-carb. The coffee from the machine was pretty good. There’s also a small convenience shop with frozen meals, soda, candy, and other things to buy. The outdoor pool is closed for the season right now, and there’s a small fitness center.

The hotel was nicely placed on a corner, with Chipotle, Steak N Shake, and McDonalds on the other three corners. There are also about twenty popular food options within a mile. On our first visit to town, the shuttle driver was super friendly. As we came in, he took a wide loop around the area so we could see the surroundings and the restaurants, and suggested a few, including which ones he liked and which were most popular. The rooms were very nice. The comforter was medium thickness, and they were fine with giving me one extra blanket. The receptionist was sweet too. A nice place to stay.

We drove all the way from Kansas for a July 12-14 trip, and our room wasn’t ready when we arrived. The maids had to rush to get it cleaned. You’d think they might offer a discount, but they didn’t. I also think charging for two people instead of just the room is ridiculous. At least we had a good time at Wonders of Wildlife. Fantastic Caverns wasn’t really our thing.

We booked here because we wanted to be within walking distance of JQH, and everything closer was sold out. The rooms were clean and nice, and the front desk staff were helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was just okay. Overall, a good experience.

ShEnanigans was under construction, and nobody told us in advance. We were there for work and got stuck for a week. Baseball stadium crowds took up the parking, and we could hear the crowd and game announcements all evening. It took more than a week to get the extra charges removed from my card. Breakfast was good, which is why I gave it the stars.
