Residence Inn Springfield South

The studio had plenty of space, and the place was reasonably quiet. We liked the blackout curtains, clean rooms, pool area and plentiful parking. The staff were friendly, especially Rhonda at breakfast. The location worked well for us: it wasn’t too busy, there’s a nice Mexican restaurant within walking distance, and a grocery store just up the road.

We stayed three weeks, and the people here made it such a good experience. Chrissy at the front desk was especially kind and helpful, as was Lisa, who helped extend our stay again and again. Housekeeping kept the rooms amazingly clean, the breakfast crew were efficient, friendly and engaging, and maintenance were thorough and friendly too. I stay in hotels for longer work assignments, and I wish every place had this kind of efficiency, kindness and great staff. Can’t wait to come back!

The hotel was clean and very up to date, and it’s a reasonable distance from the crowne plaza convention center. I only stayed one day and wish I’d stayed here for the whole trip. The bed was on the firm side. Maybe it was a one-time thing, but staff had breakfast ready at 0430 am while I was checking out for work, so I could take some food with me. A couple of things could’ve been better: the desk person wasn’t as helpful as they could’ve been, and wherever they were at 0430 am, it took 10 minutes for them to get to the desk. I was almost late for work. Also, it’s 2026 and the washer and dryer still need coins, so I had to get change. Still, I had a good stay.

The room stayed quiet, and it was clean and roomy. They brought plenty of towels when we asked. Outside, the property is well maintained and brightly lit, which helped me feel safe. The staff greeted us when we arrived and as we left.
