The bed felt a bit too stiff for me, but the stay was pleasant overall. The room was clean and roomy, and the woman at the desk was attentive and the staff were very friendly when I checked in.

After spending the past year in hotels for my son's medical appointments, from expensive five-star places to basic ones, I've had plenty of disappointing service. Staff at some of those luxury hotels felt like robots. Mary made our week here welcoming instead. We felt safe, and knew she'd help with a smile if we needed anything. She has worked here for 25 years and is putting in long hours to refresh the hotel after last summer's poor management. She loves her job and deserves more than five stars for the effort she's making to bring things up to a high standard. The rooms are clean, the price is affordable, and the staff are incredibly kind. The hotel's response was to offer me 500 Wyndham points and a discount on a future stay. That's insulting, and I'm still waiting for the manager to fix this. I want my money and points back because the hotel didn't provide the service it was meant to. This feels like a fraudulent charge to my card. We had to switch out of the filthy first room, then wait while the second was cleaned. Even after that, I wiped down the sticky TV remotes, the hot tub, and the toilet seat myself. There was old urine on the toilet, scum around the hot tub, something gross on the shower curtain, and sticky stuff on the tables. The phone didn't work, and the entrance was covered in ice and snow where we needed to unload. I also saw dining room wood tables being cleaned with glass cleaner instead of disinfectant. I was truly unhappy and definitely won't stay here again.

The pool was freezing and the hot tub was cold. Breakfast options were a disappointment, and the beds had strange bedding. The floors, tables, shower, everything, felt dirty. The front desk woman was pleasant, and she was the only staff member we kept seeing, so she must work a lot or own the place. They seem to be trying to update things, which is nice, though some of the work looks poorly done.
