Rivertown Inn

Larry made the stay easy, taking care of food and coffee, sharing recommendations and tours, and accommodating my wife and me when he could. The house's history is rich, carefully maintained, and beautifully presented. The rooms have a charming, luxurious feel that makes you feel like Victorian nobility. The property is beautifully kept, and this is the place I'd choose for a bed and breakfast in Stillwater. I look forward to coming back, and would recommend it to anyone after a romantic Victorian-style feel and outstanding service.

Chef Johanna served a three-course breakfast each morning and worked around our food sensitivities. Everything was delicious. The price was fantastic for what you get, and downtown is all within easy walking distance. My husband and I spent two nights here for our anniversary, and it felt like a magical escape. The grand house is beautiful, and the staff were polite, kind, and courteous. They went out of their way to make us feel transported into our own little world. It was a five-star experience on a budget. We loved the weekend and will be back!

Larry, the manager, is delightful, and the staff were fantastic. We spent two nights at the Rivertown Inn, with our wedding ceremony in one of its beautiful parlors. The rooms were comfortable, the breakfast delicious, and the Inn itself lovely. Stillwater is a charming, walkable town. We hope to return someday, maybe for our anniversary. Highly recommend!

We got a tour of the property when we arrived, and the staff were both friendly and knowledgeable about the house's history. My siblings and I stayed two wonderful nights for a birthday, and the visit went beyond what we expected. The rooms were lovely, luxurious, and comfortable. You can feel how much the owners and manager care about the place.
