We spent a couple of nights in the Master room for my birthday weekend, and had a great time. The room was clean and lovely, with a TV, and Randy was a caring owner and a great cook. Breakfast was included, and it was fantastic: homemade pancakes, eggs Benedict, and omelets instead of basic oatmeal. We loved staying here and would choose the Gables Inn again when we’re back in Stowe.

Randy and Mickey made every visit feel like a perfect vacation. We’ve stayed with them three times in the past three years, and their hospitality keeps bringing us back. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, too. And breakfast? The best we’ve ever had, hands down. The stuffed French toast is amazing. Thanks to both of you, and we hope to see you again soon. :)

Breakfast alone would bring me back, it was fantastic. The room was comfortable, though the bed squeaked a bit. My wife and I were in town for a show, and the owner was relaxed and easy to work with. He also gave us good dinner suggestions before the show. We’d stay here again.

Coffee and cake are available around the clock, and the included breakfast was unbelievable. We stayed in the master bedroom, which was amazing. Randy made us feel welcome and was accommodating throughout. It had the quality of hotel service with a homey feel. I’d highly recommend it.

We keep coming back to Vermont for vacations, and this has been part of our trips for over a decade. It’s easy to park, close to shops and the general town area, and pet friendly, which is a huge plus for us. We’ve always enjoyed the breakfast omelets and plan to stay here again.
