Candlewood Suites HAZLETON by IHG

I was especially relieved by how clean the room was. I checked all over for bedbugs before settling in, since you can’t be too careful these days. The room was just right, and I’d recommend this hotel to anyone looking around this area. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

I’ve returned a few times for work because the rooms are consistently clean and ready when I arrive. The front desk has also been helpful with my billing questions. I do wish they offered room service more often, though. For the price, I’d still recommend staying here, and having a stove is handy when I don’t want to eat out so much.

We’ve made this a stop on our NH-to-FL road trip twice now. It’s easy to reach right off 81, and the hilltop setting has lovely views. Our room was roomy and clean, with a full kitchen and full refrigerator, and pets are welcome. There’s a restaurant next door, which is convenient too.

The front desk woman was very nice, and the room was clean. Still, it was much smaller than other Candlewood Suites I’ve used, and the desk was too tiny to be useful. The heating and air conditioning unit was also extremely loud. It kept switching between heat and AC to hold 70 degrees, warming the room above that before the AC kicked on a few minutes later. That made sleeping difficult. It was fine for one night, but I wouldn’t choose it for a longer stay.
