The room was far too hot because the AC was bad. Staff were rude and useless, and offered neither a fix nor compensation. I didn’t sleep at all. I should’ve paid a little more for a dependable hotel chain.

I’m a college student, and my girlfriend and I were shocked by the room. It had roaches, mold, stains, humidity, and bed bugs. I’ll provide photos as evidence. A man was happy to take our money but wouldn’t return it, even though he knowingly gave us the key to such a filthy room. No refunds, he said. This place should be shut down. If the owner wants to avoid multiple reports and complaints to The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS) and other travel sites, contact me and refund me. You have three days. I hope to hear from you soon. Update: now you have two days before I contact FDACS. Update 1, 8/22/25: Customer support replied two days ago and asked me to email them about the experience, saying they’d help. I still haven’t heard back. I’ll wait until tomorrow for a response before taking the action I have in mind.

It was close enough to the job site I needed to reach in the morning, which was convenient. The room was in disrepair, though, and pretty much everything needs maintenance.

I checked in, and five minutes later someone I didn’t want at my door knocked. While I was telling him to leave, the manager came to the room and told me to go, promising a refund. I was allowed two people in the room, but was still told I had to leave. My account shows they took my money and never returned it. When I called, he said, “I gave it to you!” and hung up. You can get kicked out for things beyond your control, and whether you get your money back is entirely up to them. The room was for my son and me to relax after we’d just learned he had cancer. I was still waiting for him to arrive.
