I got in on a late flight and arrived around 12:30 am, worn out and needing sleep. I'd booked and paid a week earlier through a third party, and called before flying to make sure check-in would be fine. At the hotel they said my reserved room wasn't available and offered me a king for $60 more or told me to go elsewhere. I had already paid for an Uber and had nowhere else to go, so I paid another $30 per night for what they said was the only room size they had, a king. The room I got had two full beds, and didn't feel like an upgrade at all. I also found roach droppings in the drawers and cabinets. I have photos. I won't come back and would tell others to avoid it.

The sofa bed for our fifth family member was filthy, with unknown fluids on it, so nobody could sleep there and we had to bring our own mattress. The kitchen was a joke, there wasn't a single pan, plate, spoon, or utensil to use. We also didn't have enough towels, bedspreads, or toiletries. For towels and bedspreads they sent me down to the lobby to get them, though I didn't mind that part as much. The bathroom door didn't work.

The staff were all friendly and tried to help, but the place itself needs work. We booked a king with a pullout for our daughter, who was only staying three of our eight nights. That sofa bed was disgusting. At the front desk's suggestion, I checked another room and found a cleaning cart abandoned there, a coffee table upside down on a chair, and a wet sofa mattress cover. Under it, the mattress was just as gross as the one in our first room, which didn't even have a cover. They moved us to a two-double room, apparently an upgrade from the king. Our socks were ruined by the filthy floors, and there were dead roaches in the kitchenette cabinets. A few days in, we asked for fresh towels and were told to bring ours to the desk, wait 1.5-2.0 hours while they washed them, then collect them. When we came back many hours later, a nice desk attendant apologized that they still weren't dry. He said they were very understaffed and couldn't get to them, and explained housekeeping only comes once every two weeks, which would explain the floors. Another staff member had worked about 24 hours straight after a call-out, and someone else had to get a friend who wasn't an employee to help because they were so short-handed. The tub's painted refresh was peeling over a big area on the floor and around the soap dish. The bathroom sink cabinets felt sticky and needed a scrub. If they cleaned the place properly and replaced some nasty items, it could probably be good. The staff were great, the facility not so much.

Quincy at the front desk made things much easier while I was traveling with my partner and our dog. After a long day on the road, his patience, warm welcome, and understanding really meant a lot. It's a relief to meet staff who are kind and helpful when you have a pet along. We had a great experience, and I'd come back for Quincy's service.
