La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Tampa Fairgrounds - Casino

There are two affordable restaurants and a mini mart just a short walk away. It's pet friendly, with a large area for walking your dog. The rooms were nice, clean, and orderly, and the complimentary breakfast was amazing. The staff were pleasant and hardworking, and the service was excellent. La Quinta Hotel keeps striving to improve. Thanks for the stay.

I only wish I’d had more time there. The whole stay felt comfortable and special, largely because everyone was so kind and attentive. The front desk made me feel welcome as soon as I arrived, and I was treated more like family than a guest. It’s hard to put that kind of hospitality into words.

The location is the one reason to consider staying here. The room had damp-feeling sheets and carpets, lamps coming loose from the walls, and an elevator that felt like it might fail each time I rode it. Breakfast was a tiny room with very little to choose from. Even with someone sitting at the desk, I was told to check in through the virtual system. If you can stay somewhere else, do it. I’d give this place zero stars if I could.

I slept well in a quiet, comfortable room, and it was clean and had the cozy bed I needed. The building’s older, but it seems management is keeping it up and making improvements. Parking was easy, and the location worked perfectly for my visit, close to everything I needed. The staff were friendly throughout, from an easy check-in to helpful, pleasant conversations at the front desk. I felt safe and well looked after, especially for the price. I’d stay here again next time I’m nearby.
