We had booked Nov 1 - Nov 2 and had a confirmation, but because we were nodding off at the wheel on a long drive, we checked in at 3 a.m. On Nov 1 someone knocked and said we had to leave or pay for another night. I showed the receipt, but we still had to pay again. We needed a place to sleep before continuing the drive, and it was hard to rest with people knocking nonstop for about 30 minutes. There are no do not disturb signs. The floor was sticky and there were roaches, which makes me think they aren’t sweeping and mopping as they should.

We traveled with our dog and the room worked well for that. It had been recently remodeled and was mostly in good shape. Even though we had a smoking room, there was no odor, and the staff deserve credit for that. The kitchenette could use better lighting and the TV reception was weak, though I’m sure that can be fixed. A few lighting improvements and a TV adjustment would make it five stars.

My husband had to kill a roach that was enormous, then in the morning the toilet leaked through the tub drain. We couldn’t shower. I absolutely do not recommend it.

The room was spacious, and our dogs liked having the extra room. The bathroom and kitchenette were clean, and we appreciated the apartment-size fridge and freezer. Ice wasn’t available around the clock. The sheets had dirt and cigarette burns despite this being a non-smoking room, and there was no blanket at first. I asked at the front desk, and the very friendly clerk brought us blankets.
