Home2 Suites by Hilton Texas City Houston

Alexis made our nearly two-month stay so pleasant. Every morning she talked with me and the kids, and she went above and beyond day after day. She’s such a kind soul, and I’d definitely recommend this hotel. The downside was the new woman who knocked on our door as we were leaving to ask what time we’d be out. After staying almost two months and spending probably $2,000 or more, we felt rushed. Another time, she asked for my room number and told me in front of other people at breakfast that my card had been declined. That felt really distasteful. She doesn’t seem approachable and could use some customer service training.

Our room was clean, roomy, and cozy, and Taya at the front desk turned what had started as a rocky stay into a worthwhile one with her great service. My boyfriend, his son, and I just checked out after two nights. We’ll stay here again.

The breakfast is great, and the gym is awesome. The cleaning staff are very professional, and the hotel is nicely run. Staff are welcoming whenever you arrive or head out.

The little kitchen made a real difference for us. It had a refrigerator, dishes, a sink, a dishwasher, and even a larger trash can under the sink, so it felt like home away from home. The king bed and sofa bed were amazing, and the clean pool was a big hit with the kids. Breakfast was good too: they loved making their own waffles, and we liked the chicken patty, egg, and cheese sandwich. There were cereals, toppings, condiments, coffee, tea, cocoa, and juice to choose from. The outside was neat, the lobby smelled welcoming, and the woman who checked us in was lovely. Our first room at the end of the building was hard to get into, but they moved us closer to the elevator. The room was clean, though it was one towel short for four people. We had our own towels, so we didn’t bother the staff. The one sour moment was the man at the front desk around breakfast time, who seemed unhappy and didn’t greet us or smile. We kept things kind and simple and didn’t let that dampen our spirits. Homes 2 Suite, thanks for a beautiful place and a family memory we’ll keep. God bless you all.
