Troy Inn and Suites

There are just a few hotels together here, close to the main highway junctions and places like gas stations, Casey's, taco bell, McDonalds, and Waffle House. I stayed one night when I was down to my last dollars, and they gave me a discounted rate. If you're stuck without anywhere to stay, they'll work with you. Troy is a welcoming small town if you're trying to start over. There are plenty of places within walking distance of the hotels to work without much distraction, and rural opportunities nearby too if you're motivated.

The room was clean, the place looked great, and the owner was friendly and nice. Loved it!

The office, hallways, and rooms were all dirty. In our room, only one light worked. The floor lamp had a broken bulb, and the other wall lamp had its plug cut off. Everyone was very rude, though I couldn't tell if they were staff or people who lived there.

The first floor room was a real relief after driving all day, and the price was good for one night while passing through. The man who checked me in was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, I found a couple of roaches by the cabinet with the fridge. I wasn't too worried; I zipped everything up and put my bags on the other bed. I'm sure they would've moved me if I'd asked, but it was late and I had my things and my dog, so I didn't bother. It won't stop me from staying there again.
