Hampton Inn & Suites Tucson Marana

I intentionally stay here monthly for work because of the customer service, and I’ve seen the consistency over three months. Kayleigh is the utmost professional, kind, engaging, and thoughtful concierge. She remembers your name, encourages you to come back, and welcomes you like you’re the most important guest. Jasmine is the best housekeeper, hands down, in all my years of traveling. She takes such pride in her work that I noticed the difference in how clean the suite was, right down to the rose-shaped Kleenex. Talent like this is hard to find. I hope these team members feel valued and recognized, because they’re assets to a returning customer. I pay close to $1,000 a month on purpose because I feel welcomed, or about $12,000 a year that could go to a competitor.

The beds, pillows, and linen are really comfortable and nice, and there are plenty of towels. I love the pull-out roll stools, they move easily around the room and now I want one at home. There isn’t an extra blanket, though, and I could hear lots of heavy footsteps from the person above me. The hotel is very clean and quiet, nicely decorated, appealing, and welcoming, with contemporary decor. The breakfast wasn’t that great. There are no microwaves in the rooms, which is frustrating if you bring back takeout and want to warm it up. There’s a space with sliding metal drawers that looks like a pantry, and they should put a microwave there. I highly recommend the hotel.

Our room was pretty clean, but it smelled like a dog kennel. I went to the front desk, but the woman was still helping other guests, so we drove to a store and bought Fabreze. We sprayed the room pretty heavily a few times during our stay, and it seemed to help. I understand the place allows pets, but they should shampoo the carpets and deep clean the whole room sometimes. The room was next to a mechanical room and the pantry/kitchen, and we heard loud noises from there at all hours. It was especially loud around 3:30 both mornings, enough to wake us up. They might want to add sound insulation by service areas. We stayed 4/1/26-4/3/26. Check-in took a little while, but the woman at the desk was on her own helping several people. No big deal. She worked hard, was really nice, and very helpful.

Everything is close to the Hampton Inn, less than a mile away, and the staff are really polite and helpful. It was my first time here, and it didn’t disappoint. The room was large and very clean, with great A.C.
