That desert air in the morning made the grounds feel like a reset, and the whole place has a relaxed Southwestern feel. Lodge on the Desert in Tucson brings that through its colorful decor, warm tones, regional details, and local textures, while still being comfortable. The breakfast buffet was really delicious, with plenty of fresh, hearty choices before heading out to explore Tucson. After a day out, we unwound in the heated pool and hot tub. The on-site restaurant made dinner easy, and the in-room fireplace was welcome on chilly desert nights. Complimentary parking is a big plus if you're traveling by car. We loved our stay and would absolutely recommend it for a Tucson visit.

The restaurant was so good, I loved everything there. I also remember a complimentary breakfast that was very good, though I haven't been back since around 2021 and don't know if it's still offered. I can't wait to return. This is one of my favorite hotels because it feels like an experience of its own. The property and rooms are gorgeous, with a generous dose of desert magic. The rooms are whimsical and have lots of cute touches. I always book the room with the big jet tub, which I highly recommend. I always feel amazing here.

We picked a Casita and it's spacious, with a cozy fireplace, a really comfy bed, and great water pressure. The grounds feel quiet and intimate, and the pool area is beautiful. The on-site restaurant has a good happy hour and great service. They even let us borrow dishes for takeout. We're staying here now and the value has blown me away. Such a hidden gem, I almost want to keep it to myself. I'd definitely stay again.

The room was so dirty that we tried to touch as little as possible. The carpets left our feet black, the unplugged refrigerator had a strong unpleasant smell, and sand kept settling in the jacuzzi tub whenever we tried to fill it. It clearly needed a deep clean, so we didn't use it. The bed was VERY soft, and anyone with musculoskeletal problems should avoid staying here. We'd booked the room for our wedding anniversary and paid for early check-in to get ready for an evening out, plus late checkout. At arrival, customer service was poor. The desk clerk joked about delaying the late checkout charge in case we woke up and "just want out of this place.” It struck me as odd and negative, and then seemed prophetic. We didn't spend enough time in the room right after checking in to notice the problems. By the time we returned later that evening, it was too late to deal with changing rooms or finding another hotel. The next morning, we packed up and went home. The morning desk clerk at checkout was polite and professional and tried to address our concerns, but seemed to have little support from management. We do NOT recommend this hotel.

The outdoor spaces are well kept, and the pool is a nice way to spend a free afternoon. Parking is plentiful, and there's a convenient restaurant on site. You can easily walk to lots of places to eat and shop, as well as Red Park and the Zoo. The hotel is priced right, with spotless rooms, comfortable beds, and a solid choice of pillows. The TV worked great with plenty of channels, and the Wi-Fi was fast and password-protected.
