Expo Inn Hotel

Housekeeping is by request, but our room was disgusting. There was food and candy behind the end tables, by the entrance, and beneath the heating and AC unit. A white substance kept growing over the two days we were there, possibly from the popcorn ceiling. I’d save the shower for when you get home. The rooms need serious cleaning and upgrades. I emailed the manager Sunday and still hadn’t heard back by late today.

The location is phenomenal for an event at the expo, and the rooms were clean. The GM is wonderful too. I felt right at home and have already booked for next year. Highly recommend 👌

It was quiet, which I appreciated, but the room looked gross once I started taking pictures. The beds smelled like blankets had been left in the washer too long, and there were splashes of something on the wardrobe and bathroom door. The tub wouldn’t drain, and we had flies in the room. Looking around more, I’m not even sure it had been cleaned. Then construction started right outside at 7:15 in the morning, loud enough to sound like they were coming through the wall. I get that work needs doing, but screwing things onto the outside wall that early, without telling us anything, was too much. The place looked fairly nice when you first walk in, though the room was another story.

The staff at the DMS room were fine, but the hotel work went on during weekends too. There was noise the whole stay, and with walls this paper thin, I couldn’t sleep.
