The location worked well for traveling, with plenty of parking, and the area felt safe even at night. You can hear traffic from the main road, though, and it woke me once. I also heard people shutting doors around 6 a.m. If you're a light sleeper, that might bother you. What stood out most was the staff. They were genuinely friendly, recommended places to eat and things to do around Tupelo, and the front desk associate even asked how our day went when we returned, despite being busy. The rooms were very clean, the sheets crisp, and the beds comfortable enough. For $99 for two beds, it felt like a good deal. I saw no sign of roaches or bedbugs, and the surfaces were clean and smudge-free. There was a free hot breakfast, and the room had the basics: microwave, fridge, toiletries, hair dryer, TV, iron and board, closet, desk and chair, plus a window with a small view. The finishes are worn and could use updating, but everything was clean and usable. I couldn't get the AC to work, and the second-floor hallway had a faint carpet smell. Still, I'd book again for the cleanliness, comfort, staff, and location.
