The renovated room looked nice, and breakfast was good. We were just stopping overnight while traveling north, so it worked well for that. The TV in our room didn’t work. The friendly woman at reception offered to move us, but switching rooms and floors just to watch TV felt like too much trouble.

The shower took at least 20 minutes of running before the water was ready. Aside from that, the rooms were very clean, and the staff were polite and friendly. I had a great stay.

The staff were great, but the bathroom had a few problems. At 6'0, I was eye level with the shower head, and the door was such a tight fit it needed adjusting. The tub faucet stuck out from the wall with the pipe exposed. One pillow had a bloodstain, and the pillows felt halftime. The whole hotel was heavily scented with something fruity, probably to cover a musty smell in the rooms.

I won’t be coming back after how this deposit issue was handled. I paid a $100 deposit when I arrived, then April at the front desk charged another $100 instead of returning it at checkout. I showed her the withdrawals in my bank account on my phone, but she spoke to me as though I wasn’t telling the truth. I called several Wyndham customer service numbers and couldn’t get help. Now I have to wait for my bank to process and dispute the charges to get back the $200 withdrawn from my account. It was extremely frustrating and disappointing, and I can’t recommend this location.
