The rooms are clean, quiet, and very comfortable, and the location and price are both great. A couple of downsides: there’s no full restaurant on site despite what the internet listing says, the staff can be slow to pick up the phone, and breakfast is just okay.

Breakfast is the worst part of staying at this location. It’s been bad every time, with food either running out early, around 8, or being poor quality. Today there was no waffle mix, creamer, yogurt, or milk, and no one around to restock. That’s disappointing when so many contractors and workers stay here and the hotel makes a lot from guests. At their other hotels, breakfast is fabulous, so this is an issue with this location only. We won’t be back. We return to Tyler to visit family because my husband has points here and is a titanium member, but even basic perks like a bottle of water aren’t provided. The “suite” was just a small studio with one TV, so we felt cramped bringing our young adult daughter. The room was clean and the bed comfortable, but she found the foldout couch miserable. The pillows were ridiculously flat, and we all woke up with stiff necks after one night, so we decided not to stay the second night.

The property is very clean, the rooms are nice, and the location is great. The front desk staff were very nice, too. I could hear the person next door, but they went to bed after midnight, so it wasn’t too bad.

The roach I found crawling on the sheets was the last straw. I asked to move rooms right away because there was no way I was sleeping there, and the whole thing left me anxious and ruined my night. The room felt grimy and neglected, and housekeeping had clearly missed a serious problem. Whether that was carelessness or indifference, it’s unacceptable. Guests shouldn’t have to check their sheets for insects before lying down. This place has a serious cleanliness and pest problem. If hygiene and basic comfort matter to you, don’t stay here. There are plenty of other hotels to choose from.
