The rooms are spacious, with full kitchens and sliding doors opening onto a balcony, and there's plenty of parking. The staff are friendly and hospitable, and for a budget stay I haven't found a better option. I've been here several times and will keep coming back when I'm watching my spending. The main drawback is the condition: furniture, carpet, and bed comforters are stained from years of use, and the rooms could be cleaner and updated. I never know where I can sit or walk without covering the furniture or wearing sandals. The sheets and pillows, though, have always been fresh and clean. Overall, not bad.

I couldn't see myself staying in that room for even one night, let alone two weeks, so I showed the woman at the office my video of the problems and requested a refund through corporate. The room had a dirty couch with what looked like urine stains, a broken closet door propped against another, possible water stains on the ceiling, and carpet held down with tape. The lights were poor, with the kitchen ceiling light and the one over the sink both out. I left without staying, but still have a $280 charge pending while I wait 4-5 days for the money to return to my card. I had to find another hotel down the street, which was very nice and gave me a first responders discount. The reservation process had been fairly easy, but on check-in day I called all day to ask if arriving after 3 PM would be okay and got no answer. I was worried I wouldn't have a place when I arrived. A helpful man at the corporate office tried to cancel, but it was already after check-in time. The outside looked okay when I pulled in, and the office was clean, though the woman there had a very dry manner and was hard to understand. Check-in itself went fine. After getting the key, I felt unsure about the outside and didn't take my things upstairs right away. I wouldn't recommend this place.

We weren't told it was a smoking room until after we'd paid. The front desk person was rude and no help, and the room was filthy. The switches and other surfaces looked like they hadn't been cleaned in ages. Brown stuff dripped down the bathroom wall, there was hair all over the counter, and they put our towels right on top of it. The toilet wouldn't flush, it just kept filling with water. I wouldn't even walk around without shoes. Can't believe this place is open. I like a bargain, but not for a room this gross. Never coming back.

We always book one of the two-story loft rooms, and the beds are still really comfortable. The place is close to Clicks Live, so it's a convenient choice when we're in town for that. The new management was very nice. I called early in the week, late in the evening, to ask about the larger queen rooms. They explained the differences and helped me reserve one. It was quiet, considering there were three rooms of us. It could use a little work, though: some lights went out and came back on hours later, and the showers didn't work very well. Still, the best-priced hotel on this side of town.
