Days Inn Union

For $150 we got a room with a damaged door frame, a hole in the bathroom ceiling where the vent should have been, and no bulbs in the lamps. It looked unclean, and the mini fridge had old food in the freezer. The tub needed cleaning before we could use it. Towels were so dusty-looking that we bought our own at Walmart, and there were random bugs on the floor. There was no Wi-Fi, and there was no pool, which was disappointing in summer. I paid for two nights up front and wouldn't have done that if I'd known how bad it was. I'd recommend staying somewhere else.

I'm not sure why this motel is rated so poorly. The staff have been good, and above all, they respect my privacy. My room was better than I expected, very quiet, and I'd recommend the place.

My room needed a lot of repairs. The AC barely worked, the shower head was broken, and the toilet paper holder was coming out of the wall. There was no phone or hair dryer, and no smoke detector either. I asked for towels but never got them. The room had a strange smell, and the chair at the desk was missing part of its arm.

We stayed one night for a church men's meeting, and several of our guys had rooms. Everyone had a horror story: bugs, water flooding from a room above, and blood stains on one bed's sheets, among other problems. There are too many issues to list. Afterward, a local told us police spend more time at this place than the tenants do. We absolutely won't stay here again.
