Super 8 by Wyndham Universal City

The managers are really helpful, and Mike is the best. The rooms are clean, upgraded, and cleaned every day. The mattresses are very clean too, and the TVs are mounted. I like the granola bars and coffee they offer, and the pool is nice and clean. Best Super 8 in the city, in my opinion. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet place for a night or a couple of days.

The shower was terrible, and the bed had a lot of stains. The staff were extremely rude, too. An employee had his two kids throwing a ball around in the guest lobby, and because of that I was told I couldn't charge my phone there. When I asked when I could, he said only for ten minutes, again because of his kids. Why have a guest lobby if it's reserved for your kids to play in? The vending machine took my money, and instead of helping, the employee was condescending and rude. I'll never stay here again.

We canceled right away and booked a room at a completely different hotel. The place felt sketchy, and our room was filthy and disgusting. There were stains everywhere, and the chair had what looked like human sexual stains on it. My wife and I didn't even sit down. I could list more, but I'd run out of space. I'd advise people to run from this place. You might catch something Clorox can't clean.

The staff were nice, but the room was poor quality and we felt unsafe and uncomfortable the whole time. There were stains on the pillows, the floor was dirty, and pieces were missing from the bathtub. We tried to stick it out, but the stains on the pillow were especially obvious, so we asked for a refund. The manager asked whether the rooms were clean enough, and we were given our money back. Seeing a mess left before our stay makes me wonder if they clean properly. Don't be misled by the reviews.
