Days Inn by Wyndham Valdosta/Near Valdosta Mall

The staff were pleasant and helpful, and we found the place easily along our route. Everything was clean and in good shape, with a comfortable bed and a well-stocked, appealing breakfast bar. We recommend Days Inn in Valdosta and plan to come back each year on our way to Florida.

The room was spotless and quiet, and the price was great. I arrived late while limping because of a leg injury, and the man at the front desk noticed me carrying my duffle bag. He kindly offered to help and carried it to my room. These are kind, ethical professionals. I felt blessed to stay here.

The clean bathrooms and wood floors were a plus. It's not a luxury hotel, but for the price it does what I needed. Fine for a quick night's sleep.

The front desk woman was very kind, and she issued our refund without hesitation when we asked. The place looked nothing like the pictures from the outside, and my family and I felt uneasy as soon as we arrived. In the room, the TV was already on, which startled me because I initially thought someone was inside. We found a dead bug smashed on the wall by the vanity, a dirty ring in the toilet, and a gross tub. The linens looked dingy, with faint stains near the foot of the bed. There was also about a half-inch gap under the door, which made me worry about our safety. I told the woman it wasn't as advertised, and we got our money back without any trouble.
