Motel 6-Vicksburg, MS

The outside of the building looked great, and the staff were friendly and helpful even though it was fairly late. My room was surprisingly clean, with nothing I needed to clean before settling in. I've stayed at many Motel 6 locations, and this was the best by far. The beds and bedding were comfortable, and everything looked nice. Ella was listed as my housekeeper, and she was definitely efficient. I'd stay again if I pass through.

The shower pressure was the best part, and I've stayed in sketchier places, so things could've been worse. Still, I won't come back. There were no towels or any kind of soap in the room. In the morning they had none to give me, either, and scrambled to find just one from the back. The outlets under the lights didn't work, half the lights were out, the tub kept running and wouldn't fully shut off, and the room looked meh. There was a small hole in the wall, some baseboards were coming off, and I found a cockroach on the mirror, just chilling as our night mascot. At least some sketchy hotels I've stayed in had shampoo, working outlets, and lights that came on. If I were you, I'd go to motel 8 next door. 2/10.

The owners took good care of us and were kind and thoughtful. It's a quiet, convenient, safe place with reasonable prices, and they allow pets. Our room at Motel 6 in Vicksburg, Mississippi, was large and clean, with a soft bed, fridge, and microwave. There's also a big, nice pool. Thanks, y'all.

The receptionist was pleasant, even from behind a whole wall of pllexiglass, but the room was atrocious. The bathroom ceiling was damp, full of holes, and coming down, so I didn't dare shower. Voices stayed loud in the hallway and outside long into the night, and I didn't feel safe. It was very late on Wed night, and I was exhausted after driving all day. I should've believed the reviews. This hotel was scary. I'd avoid it.
