La Quinta Inn And Suites Victoria - South

The shower water gets HOT, which is a plus, and I like that the hotel provides shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion. I’m from big city Houston, Texas, so staying at this nice hotel in lil ole Victoria, TX was a treat. In my room, some kind of film on the windows blocked the view of the open land below, so no window photos 🫠. There also needs to be an exhaust fan in the bathroom to clear the humidity from a steaming hot shower. I’ll keep staying at La Quinta’s Inn and Suites.

The front desk clerk was friendly and very hospitable, and the room was clean. The conditioner bottle was empty, which is a small thing, but at full price you expect that sort of item to be there. I’d recommend this hotel.

It was easy to get to the dog obedience trial at the community center, and the grandkids had a blast in the pool. I did leave a bunch of my granddaughter’s snacks and oatmeal in a drawer, though, and was bummed about forgetting them. Hopefully the staff got to enjoy them.

We were ready to eat breakfast at 7:45 am, but it looked like the early birds had cleared out all the food. It took a long time for them to bring out and refill the food, which delayed our trip by an extra 45 min. The breakfast needs attention.
