Holiday Inn Express Villa Rica by IHG

I came to Holiday Inn with my husband while he was doing training with Peach State Trucking. I’m used to Marriott properties and hadn’t stayed at a Holiday Inn since I was a kid, so I was nervous enough to pack cleaning supplies. I’m grieving the recent loss of my father, and my husband encouraged me to come along to rest and clear my head while our college students were home. I’m glad I did. The room was spotless and fresh, from the bathroom and tub to the sheets. I felt safe and at ease, which matters a lot to me. The young woman at the front desk on Monday the 15th was kind, helpful, and professional. The next morning, I had coffee and a lovely conversation with the General Manager. She was warm and respectful, and we talked about hair colors and shared family photos. Later I thanked Jasmine from housekeeping for the great work she and her team were doing. She even offered to clean again, but I declined because I was enjoying uninterrupted rest. This was the cleanest and most comfortable room I’ve stayed in recently, even compared with three Marriott properties, two in Atlanta and one in Jacksonville, Florida, where I have plenty of loyalty points. The gym was impressive and well maintained, too. I have OCD and an autoimmune condition, so a clean environment is a necessity for me. I didn’t need any of the supplies I brought, and I’m grateful I could relax without worrying I’d get sick. Thank you to the whole team at Holiday Inn Villa Rica. We had a very nice room on the 4th floor. We’ll definitely stay here again when we’re passing through the area.

There’s coffee available around the clock, and breakfast is included with a good variety. The staff were professional and friendly, and the property and rooms were clean. Walmart is across the road, with plenty of places to eat nearby. I’d stay here again.

We usually stay with my sister when we visit Villa Rica, but after I broke my ankle I couldn’t manage the steps at her house. This Holiday Inn is just down the road from her place, and it worked out really well. The staff were friendly, I could get around easily, and breakfast was delicious.
