I paid in advance through booking.com, but when I arrived on check-in day, staff first said they couldn’t find my reservation. Then they claimed I’d canceled in July 2025, even though I was charged in August 2025. Booking.com called the hotel and confirmed that I had a paid reservation, but the hotel kept insisting I didn’t. They said they couldn’t refund me because they had no reservation details, somehow while having my credit card information. Booking.com helped me find somewhere else to stay, and my bank and Booking.com began investigating the hotel’s charges. A few days later, breeze inn tried to charge me again. My bank flagged it as fraudulent and blocked it. Booking.com never refunded the original transaction and told me to take it up with the hotel. The hotel didn’t answer any of my calls for more than two weeks. My bank eventually refunded me. Watch your card for fraudulent charges.

The toilet wouldn’t flush, and the pullout sofa bed had no mattress. People hung around smoking on the walkway all night. It’s in a bad area, and this was one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed in.

When we arrived, they said our prepaid two-night reservation didn’t exist, even though we showed the confirmation. After going in circles, we split the payment between cash and my friend’s credit card. I was sharing the room with a blind person who didn’t even have a driver’s license, but later the motel charged my card too, saying they needed to “verify an ID” for the stay. Once I was home, I tried for about a week to resolve the billing issue with the owner. There was never a manager available while we were there, and the owner eventually hung up on me. They kept acting like they knew nothing. I called my bank to dispute the stay. The room access was a constant problem. I was traveling with a Deaf/Blind group for what should’ve been a nice beach trip, but the unreliable key cards kept locking us out. Fixing them meant repeated trips up and down to the front desk, which was especially difficult for the group. We eventually stopped leaving at night because we feared another lockout, and there was no after-hours management. The refrigerator didn’t work, so we had to keep using the freezer. That made it hard to store food and drinks. The beds, sheets, and bathtub were gross, and nobody brought clean towels. I used the pillows and sheets I’d brought myself. Dirt and grime around the motel made me seriously question its hygiene. Read the reviews before staying. I wish I had. When we tried to get help during our stay, management showed little concern and offered no real solution or apology. The owner refused to listen or take my calls. I reported the motel to the ADA under federal law. I’ll never stay here again. They took our money and turned away.

My mother and I stayed here this past weekend, and it was awful. She got bitten by bedbugs just from sitting on the couch and bed in our room. We reported it to management right away. They promised to call back, but we still haven’t heard from anyone. That lack of follow-up shows no regard for guests’ health or comfort. I strongly caution anyone thinking about staying here. We don’t recommend it.
