The kitchen was fully equipped, and everything worked well. The location and setup were great, with a good-sized bathroom and decent water pressure. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable, but it did the job. There were lots of hair clumps and dust bunnies in the corners.

It was easy to find, parking felt safe, and the location is excellent, only about five minutes from Volcanoes National Park. The amenities were nice and worked as expected, and the place was fairly clean overall. I did notice quite a bit of dust on the fan and some visible mold in the bathroom, which was off-putting. A convenient, comfortable base for exploring, though cleanliness could use more attention.

A quiet neighborhood very close to the park entrance, which makes this a great place to stay if you’re planning to see a volcano eruption.

The neighborhood was lovely, and self check-in and check-out both went smoothly. The room and shared bathroom were spotless. The mattress was quite uncomfortable, though, which was the one drawback. Still, we had a good stay at the Volcano Hale and would definitely return. That issue seems easy to fix.

Tucked into a tranquil garden in a cute village surrounded by rainforest, this is a charming place to stay. It’s ideally located for visiting Volcano National Park, and the self check-in was easy and well organized. The kitchen and bathrooms were immaculate, and the bedroom was cozy with comfortable beds.
