There was a lot wrong with the room. The sink clogged right away, the shower faucet kept dripping, and the exhaust fan didn't work. The sheets had cigarette burns and the pillows were stained. The toilet seat felt ready to fall off, and the old caulking had been left in place after the toilet was replaced. Paint was peeling all over the walls and stairs, and the microwave was dirty inside. There was no room service. I asked for two full sets of towels but got only the towels themselves, and it seemed to take hours to reach anyone at the front desk.

We've stayed here now and then for 30 years, and it's gone downhill over time. This visit was the worst. The bathroom was a mess, with missing tiles and a loose grab bar, and the area under the toilet seat was filthy. There was no Kleenex, the toilet paper roll was missing, and there wasn't a wastebasket. The office didn't have any of those things either. Ugh!

We left because the room was disgusting and was making us feel sick. My husband and I went to buy cleaning supplies and scrubbed it ourselves, but it was still awful. I showed the photos to the manager and owner. In one photo, a Lysol wipe is shown after we used it on a white counter. Another shows the toilet seat with what looked like poop, and after we sprayed the toilet, pee came off it. The last two show dirt, dead bugs, and trash. There are about seven signs saying “no refund no exceptions,” which made it seem like they knew people would ask because of the condition. I can't recommend this place.

Really comfortable, and it smells amazing. The staff are great, especially the front desk folks. The carpet is so soft and the beds are too. It's got a gentle feel to it. I just like it here so much.
