The Historic Wailuku Inn

I booked the Mele Suite at the last minute because my travel partner’s flight was delayed a day, and I was so glad I did. It was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated, with historic character and a modern touch. The bath products felt luxurious, and I appreciated the coffee station and the aloha snacks and drinks in the room. Breakfast was an unexpected bonus. This historic house has 10 suites and could be lovely for a family reunion or wedding group. It’s hard to find a cuter place at this price anywhere on Maui. I almost want to keep it to myself for my next visit. I loved staying here and highly recommend it.

We spent two nights here during our 10-day trip and loved how cozy and comfortable it felt. Our room was spotless, the bed was very comfortable, and the quaint shared spaces made a nice place to start the day with a delicious breakfast. The Aloha Room was a welcome extra, with coffee, tea, and snacks to take along. We’d happily stay again.

I was in Wailuku for work, and the staff made the stay especially pleasant. They were friendly and attentive to the little details. The room was clean and comfortable, with a great bed and cold AC. The rooms are amazing. I’d recommend booking the Inn when you’re visiting Maui.

After looking at several places near the airport, my wife and I settled on this one and were very happy with the choice. The room and private bathroom had plenty of space, and the mattress was so comfortable we almost didn’t want to head out for our Road to Hana trip. The service was excellent. The staff were attentive and happy to accommodate our needs. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
