The service and style here are full of heart. I’d happily give this hotel five stars, and it was a perfect self-care treat for myself or a family getaway. I stayed two nights, my first time at the hotel despite living here my whole life. After I needed to change plans and add a night, the staff handled it with real care. A party needed the whole eighth floor, so they graciously moved me and upgraded me. I first had the eighth-floor tower king, then stayed on the seventh floor in a suite with a lovely office, living room, and very comfortable sleeping area. The book nook in the window alone would bring me back. There’s plenty more I loved, from the coffee station’s great creamer options to the historic atmosphere, the views of Walla Walla through the windows, and the art throughout. The people were incredibly helpful, and they clearly put everything into being welcoming hosts.

Tom at the front desk looked after us from check-in to checkout and went out of his way several times to make the stay great. We’re very grateful and will stay here again, and recommend it to friends and family. The rooms were spacious, clean, and tidy. We ate at the restaurant twice, were well taken care of, and enjoyed the food both times. The monthly prix fixe dinner with wine pairing was a highlight. They also made things easy with our baby, providing a pack and play and a car seat for the shuttle.

There are three tasting rooms on site, known for the quality of their wine. Opening hours may vary in winter, but the hotel is conveniently placed for reaching other tasting rooms downtown. Service, rooms, and amenities were all excellent. Therese was wonderful and paid close attention to what I needed. This is absolutely where you want to stay when visiting Walla Walla.

Tom at the front desk was outstanding, and the upgrade to the Presidential Suite was wonderful. We had a very good dinner in the restaurant, and the service throughout was excellent. The lobby has a luxurious but comfortable feel, a nice spot to relax quietly. They delivered everything we wanted and then some. Can’t wait to come back.

The bed and sofa were nice, and the doors and walls blocked sound really well. We were right by the elevator and ice machine but never heard either. The windows, though, were thin, so road noise came through. At least there was a white noise machine. I upgraded to a tower room expecting a better view, but got a room on the fifth floor of eleven, directly across from a gas station.
