Motel 6-Warner Robins, GA

I was in town for my grandmother's funeral and had already driven five hours when I reached the property at 2 a.m. I booked a non-smoking king through the call center and was charged $66, but the desk gave us a double room that smelled strongly of cigarettes. Within minutes, I saw roaches crawling around and smaller bugs on the bed. The TV and most of the outlets didn't work either. We lasted less than an hour before checking out, then had to find somewhere else to stay. I asked for a refund and was told to contact the call center. They sent me to the property manager; I left messages and never heard back. I still haven't received a refund for a room that wasn't what I paid for. I saw the response to my review, but can't reply there, so I'm asking again: will I get my $66 back? The customer service was terrible.

The noise and commotion left my dog terrified, especially after he spent two hours alone in the room. I got locked out when the old door lock froze as I was taking one of my dogs out. My phone, keys, belongings, and dog were all inside. Maintenance needed a crowbar to get the door open, and nobody had a solution until I threatened to call the police. It was the worst stay I've ever had. My dog was upset most of the night after being trapped in the room while we tried to figure out what to do. I absolutely don't recommend this place.

That was a horrible experience, and I won't stay there again. The room was a long way from the parking lot, and the place is old and has a bandage. Wi-Fi was useless unless I stood in the bathroom. As soon as I went into the room, it cut out and I had to set it up again. They also took a $40 deposit for a non-smoking room, then required an inspection the next morning before returning my money. Never again.

The mattress was comfortable and the sheets were clean. There was an ink(?) mark on the sheets, though, and the floor was noticeably wavy. The room was clean enough.
