Allegheny Inn & Suites

I booked a non-smoking room at the Quality Inn in Warren, PA, but it smelled strongly of smoke as soon as I walked in. It was around 7:30 PM and I was exhausted, so I didn't check everything carefully. I regretted that the next morning. There was no shampoo or shower gel, the sheets were disgusting, and I found a previous guest's note hidden under the comforter saying the sheets were dirty. Housekeeping should have caught that. It made me think nobody was properly cleaning or checking the rooms. This was the worst hotel stay I've ever had. The neglect was inexcusable, and whoever manages this place shouldn't be managing anything. I think it needs a full investigation and real accountability. I'll report what happened and share it so others don't end up here. Stay anywhere else.

I woke up around 2-3 AM after a bad night's sleep and saw more than 10 cockroaches of all sizes scurrying around the room when I went to the bathroom. It was infested. I ended up sleeping in my car. I'd give zero stars if I could.

The room was livable aside from the refrigerator's constant buzzing, so I unplugged it. The shower curtain rod also looked like it was about to fall. My main complaint was the breakfast, which was basically nonexistent. At 7:00, two of the three people in our party went down. The warmer had nine sausage links and about 12 egg patties, but there was no syrup for the waffles. I woke the guy at the desk to ask for syrup, pepper, ketchup, and more sausage since one person hadn't come down yet. He said they had no pepper or ketchup and that he could make more sausage, but it'd take a while. He never brought any out. This place is a dump!

The rooms were okay, though the bathroom needed repairs. Everyone, from the front desk to the cleaning crew, went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Aside from the bathroom, it was a great stay. Kim & Lou Weinkopff
