Bridgette and David were great hosts, and the rooms were comfortable, with a mini fridge, coffee maker, and private bath with a claw-foot tub. They even had bath salts if you wanted them. We were pleasantly surprised by the full breakfasts, including homemade sausage. There was always more than we could eat, and sitting down together felt like being at home. I rented the whole house for my family, who came from out of state for my son's wedding. I wanted a home-like atmosphere instead of a hotel, and it was lovely to sit and visit on the front porch. We could easily walk to the scenic downtown shopping area and riverfront. I'd highly recommend staying here if you're going to the Washington, MO area.

The hardwood floors, separate updated bathrooms, and comfortable bed made me feel right at home. The neighborhood is near downtown, and the place reminded me of my grandmother's 1920s house when I was growing up. The design and interior are really authentic, with more charm than a traditional hotel. Great location, management, and rooms. I'd stay again in a heartbeat. Patg

It's a little hard to find at night, about the only complaint I can come up with. The hosts were accommodating and even provided gluten-free breakfast choices for someone in our group. There were lots of other options too, including fresh fruit, instant oatmeal, cereals, yogurt, and toaster pastries. The beds were very comfortable, the neighborhood was quiet, and the breakfast was great. The shower had a modern head and soft water, with extra body wash and shampoo dispensers, and everything was spotless. I also care about having somewhere to charge my phone, and they had a multi-outlet surge suppressor with two USB ports right on the nightstand. Way more than I needed. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

The hosts are friendly and go out of their way for guests. They picked us up at the Depot and offered to take us back, which was really accommodating. We explored the whole town on foot and didn't have to deal with a car. There's plenty of live music on weekends, and sometimes during the week too. It's a really good B&B and convenient if you're arriving on the Missouri River Runner.

David and Brigette are kind, accommodating owners. The house is beautiful inside and out, with spacious, nicely decorated rooms and cozy common spaces. My family feels very comfortable here.
