There’s a lot to see and do within walking distance, and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was okay, about what you’d expect. The pool wasn’t as clean as I’d have liked, though it was decent enough to swim in. It’s a great place to stay.

I needed somewhere for a research trip and found this was cheaper than Cambridge. The room was huge and comfortable, with a big sofa and desk, plus a nice kitchen. Roche Brothers across the road was an excellent, convenient place to get everything I needed for food. There are restaurants in the mall, too. I’d stay again.

We wanted the charges printed on a separate folio, but the staff member said we were giving her extra work, that she didn’t have to do it, and that separate payments were our mistake. When her first attempt didn’t work, she said she couldn’t do anything and that, with five years at the hotel, she knew the system better than anyone else. We offered a suggestion, she tried it, and it worked. She was even more unhappy afterward, again saying it was extra work and our fault for splitting the payments. The front desk staff we encountered at Marriott were the least friendly and helpful we’ve ever dealt with.

The location was convenient, and breakfast had a nice selection. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well stocked. We enjoyed our stay at this well-maintained and well-run hotel, and will definitely return.
