The room was roomy and recently redone, with spotless surfaces, and the people at the front desk were warm and helpful. Breakfast was included and had plenty of tasty choices. For what it cost, the quality really surprised me, it felt comparable to smaller Marriott or Hilton properties.

We’ve stayed here twice now, and the location in lovely Mt. Shasta works well for us. There’s plenty of parking, it’s kept very clean, and Starbucks and Tesla chargers are nearby. On this visit we noticed the rooms had been refreshed with new carpets, couches, and furniture. A convenient stop if you need somewhere to stay while passing through Mt. Shasta.

The front desk man was helpful and canceled our stay, which I appreciated. The room itself was so dirty that I couldn’t stay there. It looked like a frat house, and it was disappointing not to be able to stop and get some sleep.

Our room was clean, including the bedding, and they let us bring our dog. Breakfast is complimentary, though you’ll need to make do with what’s offered. They don’t have water bottles available even for purchase, so we had to get one elsewhere. I could see my Shasta from the room.

Apart from the closed Jacuzzi, it was a great hotel to stay at. I get why the outdoor pool shuts for winter, but a hot Jacuzzi feels good any time, so I was disappointed it wasn’t open.
