La Quinta Inn Ste West Monroe

The room was super clean, and both the hotel and staff were nice. The elevator was out, though, and I was put on the fourth floor. I know that wasn't necessarily the hotel's fault, but they could have offered a discount instead of just offering to cancel my reservation. All the other hotels were booked.

Beatrice, the manager, and Rosalind were amazing during our 4-night stay. After we lost power early in the ice storm, we called Saturday midday and managed to get one of their last 2 rooms. They stayed at the hotel through the storm, took on all sorts of jobs, and kept smiling. Kay and the other team members who made it in were great, too, even while so many people had no power or water and the roads were iced over. They kept hot coffee available around the clock and did their best to make everyone feel at home.

Easy to get in, easy to check out, and I got a great night's sleep. We arrived later than we like, but Roslyn was lovely, and both women working that night were cheerful and hospitable. Breakfast was hot and delicious, and a sweet woman kept the dining and serving area clean. Thank you to the La Quinta staff in West Monroe for the exceptional hospitality.

Ms. Rosalyn made our Sunday morning. When we checked out, she greeted us with a beautiful smile, offered breakfast, and took time to communicate with my nonverbal son to make sure he had what he needed. The rooms were nice, and having a pet-friendly hotel is always a plus for our family. We had a wonderful stay while traveling through West Monroe, Louisiana, and would definitely return, especially if we see Ms. Rosalyn again.
