Blue A Modern Hotel, an Ascend Collection

I really didn't want to leave the hotel. The massage chair in the room, luxurious shower, and comfortable, clean beds made it easy to settle in. The bathroom had plenty of towels, and dental kits with a toothbrush and toothpaste were there if you needed them. Staff were friendly and helpful. In the lobby, the coffee machines had several options and the coffee tasted great. There were free pastries and water too, and a staff member told me free yougart was in the fridge by check-in.

For what it's worth, this was fabulous and $165.38 on 3/28/26 felt like a great deal, though there's also a 100 security deposit. The remodel looks great, and whoever set the vibe did a good job. Members get a gift bag and cookies. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and that chair kept my Mrs for an hour or more. I was enjoying it too at 7am. A great touch. There's a pool table, a gym, and it's off the main road. Staff were attentive, and Michael was friendly and quick to respond. The TV was so new it was still in store demo mode, which took some figuring out. Tip: hit input, then input again, and it unlocks controller movement. No complaints. If they add a team to support Michael, this is 5 star all day.

The black and white look was lovely, and the place had a spa-like, relaxing feel thanks to the high-quality products. It took me by surprise, it was absolutely beautiful. Customer service was pleasant and they took care of what I needed. The massage chair made the stay even more relaxing. I'd absolutely stay here again!

The front desk staff were so personable and kind, and everything was very clean. There are lots of different restaurants right around the area too, which made for a great location. I was in that massage chair for what felt like 75% of my time in the room. Both nights, I woke up in it and had to move to the bed around 2 AM. This is where I'll stay whenever I'm back in the Springfield area.
