By morning the police had joined what was going on, and we'd been caught in the middle of what looked like a prostitution exchange. The whole hotel reeked of methane, and even the front desk was enclosed behind bulletproof glass. In our supposedly non-smoking room there were cigarette ashes and burns on the bedding. The bathroom was filthy, and it was the only light that worked. The other two bulbs had been taped onto the lamp with masking tape. I've stayed at Motel 6 before and found it basic but clean. This place was so bad I wouldn't board my dog there.

I didn't feel safe staying there. Around 9 o'clock someone knocked on our window, then came back and did it again, though nobody was there when we looked. It was noisy and hard to sleep. We stayed one of the two nights because I had my two dogs and was in town for a funeral, but I wouldn't recommend the place to anyone. The hallway rugs were bunched up and I tripped on one. Outside, there was garbage and cigarette butts all around, and the owners' family had a car up on tires in front while working on it. Teenagers were skateboarding around the building, and it seemed like homeless people were staying there. The hallways and even our non-smoking room smelled of smoke. The bedspread had cigarette burns, there were small holes in the walls and curtain backing, the toilet handle was broken off, and all the lampshades were broken. Corporate should come see it and stay there themselves. I've never been somewhere so bad that I wouldn't send anyone there or to any Motel 6.

It was an okay, very short stay, though a few things could've been better. I had trouble with the bed sheets, had to plug the cable box all the way in, and needed to tuck the curtains because the air unit kept blowing them upward.

The location is great, and the room was relatively clean. The coffee was good, and the tall younger man at the front desk was cordial and professional. Still, I wouldn't return. The hallway carpet was worn, smelly, and buckled, while outside lighting was so sparse that the property felt unsafe for guests and cars. My TV only worked now and then, the fridge needed repair, and the WiFi was too weak or restricted to access most sites, including banks and travel services. I stayed a week, and two Target carts and one Kohl's cart were around the whole time, though they kept moving. I also had to get my room key reactivated at the desk every day. Everyone else seemed indifferent about being there.

Nothing about this motel seemed taken care of. It felt like a flop house where the county sends homeless people. The beds were broken, sheets stained, ripped, and burned with cigarettes, and the rooms and halls reeked of cigarettes and marijuana. The showers were filthy too. The rooms were disgusting, and it was a total nightmare.
