Aloft by Marriott Denver North Westminster

The hot water failed this morning, so I had to take a cold shower. That spoiled what had otherwise been a very good experience for me and my corporate team. When I mentioned it at checkout, the front desk agent said he was tracking the problem and would tell the team, then immediately asked where to send my receipt. That was a big hospitality miss. The staff, service, and accommodations had all been excellent, which made the response even more disappointing. Do better.

The housekeeping staff were wonderful, and both the team lead and team manager were really nice and helpful when I spoke with them. The hotel is well maintained and worked well for our activities, with lots of good restaurants nearby.

Housekeeping was amazing, and the agent who found the account problem was helpful. The rest of my stay was great, but I travel often for work and have never knowingly signed up for a membership before arriving at a hotel. At checkout, the desk agent asked me to verify information about an account issue, and that’s when I learned I’d already been enrolled without my knowledge. Management needs to fix this. If Marriott sorts out these internal issues, this hotel could be amazing.

Jasmine(sp) made check-in quick and easy, and she was incredibly accommodating. She checked that I had everything I needed, even asking whether I had cutlery and offering to get some when I came back with dinner. That kind of thoughtfulness is rare, and I really appreciated it.
