Walk to Beach! Pet-friendly Westport Home w/ Views

The late check-in was a real problem. Our booking was for the 30th through the 2nd, but we couldn't get into the house until 5 pm on the 30th, despite paying for the whole day. The company says the lot fits only two cars and charges over $100 for each extra one, while the manual inside says three cars max. The people managing the rental don't seem to know their own policies or check them. There are houses being built in front of the beach house that block some of the balcony view, and there's no direct beach path. You have to go down the driveway and then along a path by other houses. The pull-out couch was so bad nobody could sleep on it, so bring a sleeping bag and use the floor if the beds won't fit your group. The service was unsatisfactory, and apart from the kind neighbors, it wasn't worth the time or money.
