We found this cute motel on Booking. Com when we spontaneously decided on an overnight beach trip, and it worked out perfectly. The room was comfortable and clean, the rate was inexpensive, and it had what we needed to make a quick breakfast. It's a block from the beach at Convention Hall, with a concrete walk down to the beach. Best part, it's pet-friendly and charged just $20 extra per night. We'll stay here again.

We love bringing our pets along for family vacations here. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the upstairs balcony is a favorite. Our one complaint is that the pool closes at 6, when there's still so much daylight left. Otherwise, we love it.

I stayed at the Tide Winds for TROG. The price was very reasonable, and the motel was clean and conveniently located. It also had a great second-floor deck.

I confirmed by phone that I could bring my dog, then booked a room and received both an email and a text confirming it. Three days later, they texted to say they had no room. I can't rearrange my vacation because these people are incompetent and irresponsible. Now I have to wait to find out what happens with the cancellation, since the booking was nonrefundable. I don't know what the rooms are like, but after this kind of BS, I'm sure they're terrible, just like the service.

The thick walls meant I never heard the guests or pets in the rooms on either side of us. I was nervous about trying a pet-friendly hotel, and I'm very apprehensive about germs, but everything looked and smelled fresh and clean. The staff were attentive, the area felt safe, and even walking the dogs at night felt comfortable. The neighborhood houses were incredibly friendly too. Wi-Fi and parking were great, and I could log into Netflix on the TV's Roku. We'll definitely be back.
