This feels more like a room in an apartment complex than a hotel, with other apartment buildings all around and little hotel atmosphere. There's no restaurant or pool, and downtown Burlington is a long way off. Breakfast is very basic, too, and guests aren't allowed to bring their own alcohol in, so drinks have to be bought from the hotel. I also couldn't count on my Marriott Bonvoy card here. It was declined at the laundry when I tried to wash a pair of pants, which cost $5 to wash and another $5 to dry. I had to pay with a regular credit card instead.

We picked this place for a ski trip to Stowe Resort, about a 45-minute drive away, and it was much better than I expected for the price. The staff were so kind, the rooms were clean, and breakfast was great. We especially liked having a waffle maker. I'd definitely come back.

Aside from the sofa bed, we were happy with the staff, breakfast, and location. Just be careful when booking: our room had a king and a “pullout sofa,” but underneath we found what was basically a bare box spring with no padding. The front desk staff were very understanding and brought a mattress pad and two duvets to soften it. It was still rock hard, so I'd avoid that room.

Restaurants and shops are close enough to walk to, and the rooms were clean and nice. The hotel feels pretty new, though I’m not sure when it opened.

The free breakfast was a real highlight, with lots of choices prepared well. The front office staff were good, and my room was clean, pleasant, and had a kitchen area. The whole place seems brand new.
