Econo Lodge Burr Ridge

Norman at the front desk made this stay special. He was always pleasant, helped me with whatever I needed, and his positive energy made me feel comfortable. He's the nicest hotel employee I've ever met, and he deserves a raise. The room was cozy and super clean, with a really comfortable bed. I slept like a baby. The rooms are newly remodeled, and for the price, you should grab one. You don't hear the traffic even though it's right off 55. There's a gas station, food, and Target around the corner, with Bennys shopping and more food down the street. I loved the location and customer service, and was treated like I was at the Hilton. I was so pleased to stay here. Thank you for the perfect hospitality! ❤️

Room 237 was filthy. There was hair on the bed, and the sheets didn't look clean. The photos are misleading. I asked the guy at the front desk to move me, but he said there were no rooms available, even though the parking lot was nearly empty. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

The service was great, and aside from the problems below it was an okay stay. In room 231, there was a dirty towel on the bathroom door, other towels had hair on them and looked dirty, and the bedding was stained. My neighbor burned a lot of incense, and the smell came straight into my room. He kept going in and out and letting the door slam, too. I couldn't get to sleep until 1 in the morning.

We checked in on 12/31/2025, and within 30-60 minutes saw roaches in the bathroom. I called the front desk. At first he said they don't have roaches and have housekeeping come daily, well, duh, all hotels do. I said I had pictures, and even after seeing them he refused to refund us and huffed and puffed. He kept asking whether the room was dirty, as if roaches weren't dirty enough. We got another room on the same floor, same side, and there was another roach in that bathroom. I've already called corporate and am definitely going to report this to the health department or something.
