The staff were nice and helpful, but the first room was disgusting, with roaches, water bugs, flies everywhere, and a strong cigarette smell. It hadn’t been cleaned before we arrived, and there wasn’t even a comforter on the sheets. I called the front desk about the bugs, and the man there was very kind and helpful. After some convincing, he moved us to another room. Still, I won’t be back. For $20 more, you can get an actual hotel with complimentary breakfast and a proper bed.

The manager was nice, and the rooms are affordable if you’re in a jam. But I’d spend a little more for better customer service. Within an hour of check-in, I complained about the noise. The front desk woman just looked at me and said she’d make a phone call. She was staying on our floor, and her dog barked constantly while she slammed her door every time. Employees should be more considerate. When we checked out, the back door’s push bar was hanging halfway off, and the door was often held open with a door. It didn’t feel safe. I’d think corporate should come by and fix these issues.

My stay was horrendous. The first room we were given was occupied. I’d specifically requested non-smoking because of health issues, but they put me on a smoking floor. I asked the very sweet woman at the desk for a non-smoking room, and she said none were available. That turned out not to be true. The smoking room also had what looked like dried blood that someone had tried to clean off the shower curtain, hair all over both beds and the bathroom, and ash from the room’s ashtray in and down the toilet. After a lot of stress, I asked for another room. A new man at the desk said they had a non-smoking room on a non-smoking floor with the two beds I needed, even though the woman had said there were none. The new room didn’t smell of smoke, but on closer inspection there were roaches everywhere. I killed at least six, and there were more dead ones throughout the room, along with more hair, eyelashes, and what looked like pubic hair on the beds and pillows. Bugs kept appearing. I went downstairs for a full refund so I could leave, but the woman said they couldn’t do that. I had to insist and show pictures of the filth I’d encountered. I don’t know if this was due to a bad cleaning company or the hotel’s own negligence, but it was disgusting and unacceptable. Don’t stay here.

They’re very pet-friendly and make it clear they’re animal lovers. Children are safe here, which is a huge bonus. The staff I met were amazing and treated us like family. The manager is personable and understanding, Vanessa at the front desk is the sweetest, and the night staff are friendly and attentive. The cleaning staff are funny and quick to help. I recommend this place to everyone. You won’t regret it.
