Casa Matamora

We wandered around the area and caught some beautiful sunsets at the nearby beach. The owner looked after us so well, even making us delicious homemade lunch and dinner. My wife and I had an amazing, peaceful stay. Highly recommended.

The service is excellent, and the food is delicious. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the bathroom is too. Nature is all around, with birdsong as the only sound. The beach, almost deserted in the morning, is just a few blocks away. A real delight if you're after peace, quiet and a break in nature.

The garden is huge and well maintained, and the wide beach is nearby. There aren't any shops close by. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful, with homemade bread, several jams, three kinds of cheese, cold cuts, butter, tea, coffee and milk. The room had an electric kettle with coffee, tea and powdered milk, and towels were provided. It was very clean and nicely decorated, all in white. There was plenty of storage for two people in the dressing area, with closets, hanging space and drawers. The bedroom was spacious, with a large bed, and the big bathroom had a roomy shower enclosure. The shower was luxurious.

Breakfast is generous, with freshly baked bread, delicious coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice, and dinner was a culinary delight. Heinz and Markus were warm, expert hosts who really pampered us. Casamatamora is surrounded by wonderful vegetation and fascinating wildlife, and the guesthouse is spacious and modern, with large rooms, a bathroom and dressing room, and every comfort.
